Our Mission
Chemical engineering is a field built on precision, but learning it – and practicing it – is rarely a solo activity. Textbooks and calculators can only go so far. The rest comes from conversation: asking a question when you’re stuck, comparing notes with someone who’s solved the same problem, or getting a second opinion before committing a design to paper.
That’s the gap this Community exists to fill. Our mission is simple:
- Give every chemical engineer -student or professional – a place to ask questions without judgment.
- Build a searchable, lasting library of real discussions that help the next person facing the same problem.
- Connect people across the industry: process engineers, R&D specialists, students, educators, and consultants, regardless of where they are in the world.

Meet the Team
ChemEngCalc Community and chemenggcalc.com are founded and actively run by two people who bring complementary expertise – one from the Chemical Engineering and Industry side, and one from the Technology and Education side.
Nitish Gupta (Co-Founder & Technical Lead)
Nitish Gupta is a Chemical Engineer and co-founder of ChemEnggCalc, with over seven years of hands-on industry experience in Research & Development and Process Engineering. His professional background spans chemical process development, process optimization, and industrial-scale R&D projects, giving him deep practical insight into the real-world application of chemical engineering principles.
At ChemEnggCalc, Nitish serves as the technical authority – reviewing and validating all engineering calculations, formulas, and content to ensure accuracy, reliability, and industry relevance. His expertise ensures that every calculator and article on ChemEnggCalc meets the standards expected by both academic researchers and industry professionals.
Nikita Aggarwal (Co-Founder & Product Lead)
Nikita Aggarwal is a Computer Science Engineer and co-founder of ChemEnggCalc, an engineering education platform dedicated to making chemical engineering calculations accessible to students and professionals worldwide. With over six years of teaching experience at ABSS Engineering College, India, she has developed a deep understanding of how engineers learn and apply technical concepts in practice.
At ChemEnggCalc, Nikita leads the development of interactive calculators and digital learning tools that bridge the gap between theoretical engineering education and real-world application. Her work focuses on simplifying complex engineering methodologies into accurate, easy-to-use computational resources for the global chemical engineering community.
Together, Nitish and Nikita combine deep technical credibility with a strong understanding of how people actually learn – which is exactly the combination this Community is built on.
